By accessing or using Chatome ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Chatome. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Chatome. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• All information you provide is accurate and truthful

3. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree to use Chatome responsibly and ethically. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

3.1 Illegal Content

• Sharing, distributing, or soliciting illegal content including child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Promoting or engaging in any illegal activity
• Sharing pirated or copyrighted material without authorization

3.2 Harassment and Abuse

• Harassment, bullying, stalking, or threatening other users
• Hate speech, discrimination, or incitement to violence
• Unsolicited sexual content or unwanted advances
• Doxing (sharing personal information without consent)

3.3 Spam and Abuse

• Sending spam, advertising, or commercial solicitations
• Scamming, phishing, or fraudulent activities
• Bot usage or automated systems to abuse the Service
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions

3.4 Technical Abuse

• Attempting to hack, reverse-engineer, or exploit the platform
• Introducing malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Overloading servers or disrupting service availability

4. Account and Premium Subscription

4.1 Account Creation (Optional)

While Chatome can be used anonymously, you may optionally create an account to save preferences and access Premium features. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4.2 Premium Subscription

Chatome offers a Premium subscription with enhanced features for a one-time lifetime payment of Rp 15,000. By purchasing Premium:

• Payment is non-refundable except as required by law or within our 7-day satisfaction guarantee
• Premium access is tied to your account and is non-transferable
• We reserve the right to modify Premium features with reasonable notice
• Premium accounts are subject to the same conduct rules as free accounts

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 User Content

You retain ownership of content you share on Chatome. However, by using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and transmit your messages to facilitate chat functionality
• Process content for moderation and safety purposes
• Aggregate and anonymize data for analytics and service improvement

5.2 Chatome Intellectual Property

All aspects of the Service including design, code, branding, and features are owned by Chatome and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the platform
• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without permission

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our data collection and processing practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy. Key points include:

• We do not require personal identification for basic chat usage
• Chat messages are encrypted and automatically deleted after sessions end
• We collect minimal data necessary to operate the Service
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties

7. Moderation and Enforcement

We employ both automated systems and human moderators to enforce these Terms. Actions we may take include:

• Warnings: First-time minor violations may result in a warning
• Temporary Bans: Repeated or moderate violations result in temporary suspensions (24 hours to 30 days)
• Permanent Bans: Severe violations (illegal content, harassment, scams) result in permanent account termination
• Legal Action: We report illegal activities to appropriate authorities

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

8.1 Service Availability

Chatome is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Complete security or privacy (though we make best efforts)
• Compatibility with all devices or browsers
• Availability of specific users or matching results

8.2 User Interactions

You acknowledge that:

• We are not responsible for the conduct or content of other users
• You interact with strangers at your own risk
• We cannot verify the identity or intentions of users
• You should never share sensitive personal information

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chatome and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Premium subscription (if any) in the past 12 months.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

• By You: Stop using the Service or delete your account at any time
• By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access for Terms violations, inactivity, or at our discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Chatome shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation between the parties
2. Mediation (if negotiation fails)
3. Binding arbitration or courts located in Indonesia (as a last resort)

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through:

• Notice on the Chatome website or application
• Email notification (for registered users)

Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
